Avrell Fox is a very popular local artist. Her vibrant, contemporary paintings have been shown extensively thorough the region.
What
Avrell wanted a site to showcase her paintings. She also wanted a blog ("web-log") that she can update herself to keep her fans abreast of the projects she is working on.
The 5 photo galleries use Adobe Flash to present over 200 paintings in a way that is simple and enjoyable for the visitor to browse through. The blog was created with WordPress (wordpress.org), and is integrated seamlessly into the site's template.
Avrell has embraced the internet phenomena of social networking, and this site serves as a hub to her Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, and Tribe.net accounts, and also introduces an RSS feed for people that wish to subscribe to her blog.
